Musician Oliver Anthony recently took to his official Facebook page to apologize for the high ticket prices at Cotton Eyed Joe. He explained that he had told his booking agent he wanted tickets to be no more than $25 each, and that VIP meet and greets should be free. He also addressed claims that he was charging $120,000 to perform at the bar, clarifying that the most he has ever made on a show is $35,000. Anthony has since booked a performance at the Knoxville Convention Center on Sept. 29, two days after his original performance.
