That is where he transitioned from being one of the early club mixers locally to his Rap and Mix show on commercial radio KWIN.  He continued his craft in the Rhythm CHR radio format for 8 more hard years as a weekend announcer. One day he was contacted by the new country station in town, landing at one of America’s biggest radio stations. Bubba went from Rappin’ to Ropin’, It was the country format and Bubba spent over 20+ years at KATM-KAT Country 103 his work garnered the station the ACM Station of The Year Award.  Black retired after his time at KATM, with some short stops along the way in Reno Nevada, and Denver Colorado.

I am proud of this music and radio station. Lets Soar!”
