A man in Allentown, Pennsylvania is facing charges of a DUI brought by Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville in Lehigh County. Not only is he accused of showing up drunk for his job and being sent home; he was then hit with a DUI in a parking lot as he attempted to drive away. This incident occurred around 5 p.m. earlier this month. Police would not release where he worked, but said he allegedly showed up to work under the influence of alcohol and was confronted on the job by his boss. He then tried to leave and from there, he allegedly drove his vehicle to a private parking lot. When the officers caught up to him, he was arrested and charged with a DUI. His arraignment is scheduled later this month, it has not been confirmed if he also lost his job.
