Jason Aldean’s eagerly anticipated Ohio concert, originally scheduled for July 20, has encountered a delay and has been rescheduled to September. This marks the second instance of rescheduling within the initial four dates of his Highway Desperado Tour. The country star kicked off his set in Hartford, CT, last Saturday but regrettably had to cut it short due to a heat-related illness, subsequently pledging to arrange a new date for the disappointed fans.

Furthermore, the concert at Cuyahoga Falls, OH, was forced to move to a later date due to the looming threat of severe weather. The event, originally set to take place at the Blossom Music Center, will now take the stage on September 17th. This adjustment comes in light of recent events surrounding Aldean’s latest single, “Try That In a Small Town,” and its music video, which have sparked a whirlwind of controversy. The song’s reception has been polarizing, with some viewing it as a call for empathy in rural communities, while others vehemently accuse Aldean of indirectly endorsing violence and racism. Thursday’s concert, following these heated discussions, carried added weight as Aldean faced a diverse range of opinions and emotions from his fervent fan base.
