Tomorrow is the anniversary of the death of Michael Jackson. Personally, I find it weird that we have death anniversaries, but it’s a thing! It was June 25, 2009 when Michael Jackson died of acute propofol intoxication.
I remember the day and the moment it was announced because I was on-air doing the Afternoon show on The Eagle. I was shocked the second the news scroll stated that “Michael Jackson was dead”. You may not know this, but I have somewhat of a personal connection with Michale Jackson. When I was younger, I had the opportunity to perform with his at the Super Bowl. It was an amazing experience and something that I’ll never forget. Although it was a big group and a quick rehearsal I had a second to talk to him and he was very nice to me and everyone he met.

I saw this today and thought that I would share with you since it’s really good! The a capella group Pentatonix (they won season three of “The Sing-Off” in 2011 put together a mix of 25 Michael Jackson songs. They start with the Jackson 5 song “I Want You Back” from 1969 and end with “You Are Not Alone”. Yes…”Thriller” is in the middle. So, enjoy the “Evolution of Michael Jackson”!
