Olive Oil in Your Starbucks Drink?

Starbucks is introducing a new coffee called Starbucks Oleato. The line infuses Starbucks arabica coffee with Partanna cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil, resulting in “a velvety smooth, delicately sweet, and lush coffee that uplifts each cup with a new flavor and texture.”

It will launch in select markets worldwide over the coming year. No word yet if they’ll include any of Utah’s Starbucks. Products include an Oleato Caffè Latte, an Oleato Iced Shaken Espresso, and an Oleato Golden Foam Cold Brew. Customers can also add a press, equivalent to a spoonful of Partanna extra virgin olive oil, as a customization to select beverages.
