King’s Hawaiian Rolls Suit Tossed Out

A lawsuit claiming that King’s Hawaiian Rolls are deceptive was thrown out on Monday.

In the suit, a woman claimed that marketing for the rolls were misleading consumers into thinking they were made in Hawaii. “Plaintiffs believed the Product is currently made in Hawaii,” the suit said. “Further, plaintiffs believed that the Product contained ‘Hawaiian ingredients,’ including pineapple juice, honey, and sugar.”

The judge in the case made note that packaging for the rolls states their manufacturing happens in an L.A. suburb and does not include pineapple or honey as ingredients.

Do you think this was worth a lawsuit?
