Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood performed their hit, “If I Didn’t Love You” at the ACMs on Monday night.  Aldean admitted after the performance that he was scared of Underwood’s circus-style descent on stage. “When we came to rehearsals, I knew she was coming from the ceiling, but I was like, ‘Where’s she sitting?’ exclaimed Aldean. “And they showed me this little bitty seat. I went to her and said, ‘Man, I’m glad you’re doing this and not me, because I would have tapped out.”

Carrie on the other hand jumped at the opportunity to dangle from the ceiling. She told the press backstage, “I was excited, it’s something I’d never done before. I’m always up for trying new things, adding a little bit of danger to the performance.” Carrie has had a lot of practice with flashy, daring performances as she has been playing her Las Vegas residency.
